171st Security Forces support Hurricane Sandy relief efforts

Members of the Pennsylvania Air National Guard's 171st Air Refueling Wing Security Forces Squadron augments Army National Guard counterparts in the 28th Military Police Company in deploying to New York to support Hurricane Sandy relief efforts. Thirty-three members from the 171st Air Refueling Wing, located in Findlay Township, deploy first to Fort Indiantown Gap for training and familiarization; from there, these Citizen Airmen will head to New York to support civil authorities there along with the 28th Military Police Company.
