258th Air Traffic Control Squadron Travels to Oregon for Training

Pennsylvania Air National Guardsmen with the 258th Air Traffic Control Squadron traveled to Oregon to train with the 270th Air Traffic Control Squadron in Klamath Falls from Sept. 11, 2016 to Sept 19, 2016. The training simulates a deployment and gives the Airmen the experience of traveling to an unfamiliar location to set up and operate the Mobile Air Traffic Control Tower (MSN-7) on unfamiliar terrain. Air Field System Maintainers, Air Traffic Control Specialist, and Power Production Specialist from the 258th train on setting up, operating, and testing, the MSN-7. The 258th Air Traffic Control Squadron is located in Johnstown Pennsylvania and is a squadron of the 171st Air Refueling Wing located in Pittsburgh. (U.S. Air National Guard Photo by Staff Sgt.
