Master Sgt. Moran joined the Pennsylvania Air National Guard as a production recruiter in 2022 after serving 13 years in the Active-Duty Air Force. He is originally from Massachusetts and joined the Air Force in 2009. Sergeant Moran was previously a Security Forces member serving in Montana and Turkey before becoming a recruiter for the Active-Duty Air Force in 2015. As an Active-Duty recruiter, Sgt. Moran was assigned to Providence, Rhode Island, and later Canonsburg, Pennsylvania. He made the jump to the 171st Air Refueling Wing and the Pennsylvania Air National Guard so he and his family could settle in the Pittsburgh area.
