Base IBExpress Store visited by Sen. Toomey rep

     The IBExpress store, on base, was visited by Katelyn King, an aid from Senator Pat Toomey's office, Oct. 25. The visit was to see how the mission for Industries for the Blind- Milwaukee operated. Toomey is one of Pennsylvania's U.S. Senators. Mary Connor, the store manager hosted a "burger burn," providing lunch for King. All 171st members were also invited to enjoy the cookout lunch.
     After lunch, King was given a tour of the store, which included a briefing on the AbilityOne program. The briefing was conducted by Dan Bailey, IBEX National Sales Director. Mary along with her co-workers, Brad Jones and Jeff Hladio, worked together to put on this event. Mary, Brad, and Jeff would like to thank Katelyn for the time she took out of her day to visit the store.
     Industries for the Blind's mission is to provide employment to the blind community.
