PITTSBURGH -- Brig. Gen. Roy E. Uptegraff, III, commander of the 171st Air Refueling Wing, flew a KC-135 Stratotanker for last time Dec. 29. Greeted by his family, friends and fellow Airmen upon landing, celebrating a 31-year flying career. In February Uptegraff will become the Air National Guard assistant to commander, Air Mobility Command, Scott Air Force Base, Ill. and be promoted to major general.
