Christina Aguilera will not be the only Pittsburgh-native performing in the Super Bowl pregame show Sunday. Airman 1st Class Lisa Weiss, a Pittsburgh resident and member of the Pennsylvania Air National Guard, will perform "America the Beautiful" with the Air Force's premiere performance group Tops in Blue.

Tops in Blue is a team comprised of more than 30 Airmen serving as vocalists, musicians and technicians who travel the world performing for deployed military members and civilian communities. The group has performed multiple times in Iraq and Afghanistan during the past six months.

Born and raised in Pittsburgh, Weiss enlisted in the 171st Air Refueling Wing in 2007 as a member of the services flight. She was selected for Tops in Blue in January 2010 and has been touring since May. After a September performance in Pittsburgh, the Super Bowl will be another opportunity for Weiss sing for her hometown, but now it's on a much bigger stage.

"Not many Steelers fans get a chance to go and see their team play in the Super Bowl, and I am lucky enough to experience it from the field," Weiss said.
