FOD

On August 3, 2008, Senior Master Sgt Andy Janov leans to show that a bolt that had been found during the tenth annual FOD walk on the flight line shared by the 171st Air Refueling Wing of Coraopolis, Pennsylvania and the Pittsburgh International Airport came from a runway light. This location was one of the first to start the ELFOD (Elimination of Foreign Object Damage) program that assists in removing FOD from runways around the US.
