Lieutenant Governor of Pennsylvania, Jim Crawly, toured the 171st Air Refueling Wing March 26, 2014. Mr. Crawley's intent was to discuss the impact and importance of the military in Western Pennsylvania. Also attending was Pennsylvania Senator Matt Smith and Representative Harry Readshaw. Mr. Crawley toured the 171st Air Refueling Wing, followed by the Army reserve's 316th Expeditionary Sustainment Command, followed by the Navy's Naval Ocean Systems Center, and finally the Air Force Reserve's 911th Airlift Wing. While at the 911th Mr. Crawley held a press conference to bring attention to the daily activities of the military in western Pa. and how it benefits the local community.
