The grand opening of the Pittsburgh Area Commissary and The Moon Township Express and Military Clothing Store took place at the McGarity Army Reserve Center in Coraopolis Pa. Oct. 21, 2014. The ribbon cutting ceremony and the chance to browse the new stores attracted about 400 people. The new facility has been built to replace the Charles E. Kelly Support Facility that was built in 1959 and located in Oakdale Pa. The new Commissary and Express store will serve 36,386 military members in the local area, and about 168,000 retired service members and families within 100-mile radius and provides goods and services at discounted prices. In attendance was U.S. Sen. Bob Casey, D-Pa., U.S. Rep. Tim Murphy, R-Upper St. Clair, and U.S. Rep. Mike Doyle, D-Forest Hills. (U.S. Air National Guard Photo by Master Sgt. Shawn Monk/Released)
