Col. Raymond L. Hyland Jr. is the commander of the 171st Air Refueling Wing, Pennsylvania Air National Guard, Coraopolis, to include the wing’s geographically separated unit, the 258th Air Traffic Control Squadron, Johnstown, Pennsylvania. As Wing Commander, he administers and supervises the wing and its subordinate units, ensures combat readiness in the mobilization missions of units under his command and is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the Air National Guard property and facilities at the Pittsburgh International Airport and the Johnstown-Cambria County Airport.

Col. Samuel S. Wilson – Deputy Wing Commander

Col. Samuel S. Wilson is the Deputy Wing Commander, 171st Air Refueling Wing, Pennsylvania Air National Guard, Coraopolis, to include the wing’s geographically separated unit, the 258th Air Traffic Control Squadron, Johnstown, Pennsylvania. As Deputy Wing Commander, he assists the Commander in all aspects of Wing administration to include: managing and supervising the wing and its subordinate units, ensuring combat readiness in the mobilization missions of Wing units, and the operation and maintenance of the Air National Guard property and facilities at the Pittsburgh International Airport and the Johnstown-Cambria County Airport.

Command Chief Master Sgt. Charles W. Wiley

Chief Master Sergeant Charles W. Wiley is the Command Chief of the 171st Air Refueling Wing, Coraopolis, Pennsylvania. As the Command Chief, he is a key advisor to the wing commander and senior staff regarding matters of military readiness, mission effectiveness, professional development, unit health, morale and the overall welfare of the wing’s enlisted force.
